[:nl]EEE-Ultrashine is a polish specially developed for use in combination with the Shellawax products but also has a large number of applications outside of that. When used in combination with Shellawax products it not only gives a beautifully smooth surface but also saves a lot of sanding work. The way of working is as follows:
Sand the workpiece to a minimum of 400 grit
Apply some EEE-Ultrashine to a cloth and process it as if it were ordinary
sandpaper.
The effect you achieve in one go is equal to the result you would get if you sanded manually to 2000 grit. If you manually sand to 1500-grit instead of 400-grit and then apply EEE-Ultrashine, you will achieve the same effect in one pass as you would get when sanding to 4000-grit
If the sanding achieved in this way is satisfactory, finish the workpiece preferably with one of the Shellawax products to obtain a beautiful, lasting gloss.
By using EEE-Ultrashine, you achieve the following 3 effects:
The sanding powder present in the paste, as it were, sand the tops of the mountains of sanding scratches from the 400 grit (or the finer grit you used last). So this is the same effect as you would get by manually sanding finer.
During the sanding process a kind of “paste” is created which is a mix of the EEE-Ultrashine ingerdients and the sanding dust created in point 1. This “pulp” automatically enters the pores and fills the valleys of the sanding scratches. In addition to removing the tops of the scratches as described in point 1, the valleys in between are also filled. This effect is the one achieved in the traditional polishing process through “pumicing”.
The last effect you achieve with EEE-Ultrashine is that the workpiece, due to the presence of a little wax in the paste, already begins to shine a little. The shining itself is not important during the preparation, but the effect is that if there are still scratches in the workpiece that you had not noticed before, they will be visible now and you can remove them before applying the actual finishing coat. No surprises afterwards!
Besides preparing wooden workpieces for a
Shellawax finish, EEE-Ultrashine can also be used for, among other things:
Polishing of plastic turnings (for example, pins). In this case, EEE-Ultrashine forms the final finish and no further treatment is required.
Polishing (turning of) bone.
Polishing (turning of) stone.
Polishing shells.
Polishing various metals.
Polishing Tagua nuts.
Cleaning all kinds of dirty plastics such as Trespa, plastic windows, caravans, polyester, fascias and the like.
Polishing varnish and other paint finishes.
Optimizing polishing.
In all cases, try out a piece on an inconspicuous area first to see if your application does indeed give the desired results!

Also keine Überraschungen hinterher!
